Fielgood Productions
Fielgood Productions is launching with our first play - The Mechanicals' Dream.
Join Quince and his hopeless cast of working men and women as they attempt to put on a show for the Lords and Ladies of Athens. It's slapstick Shakespeare fun for all the family!
Synopsis
The Mechanicals (hard-handed men which never laboured in their minds 'til now) have somehow been chosen to perform their tragical comedy, Pyramus and Thisbe, for Duke Theseus and his new wife on their wedding day. You are invited to join the lords and ladies for this exclusive performance, complete with scene stealing, late entrances, set mishaps and a disastrous Bergomask dance!
This production features the mechanicals scenes from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, adapted as a short play. Narrated by the merry wanderer Puck, The Mechanicals Dream includes original music, new and traditional text, and a whole lot of laughs!
Book this show!
The Mechanicals' Dream is a 45 minute production suitable for schools, care homes, outdoor venues and community centres.
