Fielgood Fitness offers exercise classes for adults

over 55. Classes cater to all abilities in that age group, with options of standing or seated and absolutely no floor work. Contact me to find out how I can help you to be the best you possible.

  • Mondays 10am at the Milestone Centre, Caversham Park Village (mixture of low/no impact cardio circuits and strength, £7)

  • Thursdays 11.15 at the Oddfellows Hall, Oxford Road, Reading (mixture of no impact dance and seated strength/mobility)

  • Fridays 9.45 and 10.45 at Mapledurham Playing Fields and Pavilion (mixture of low/no impact cardio circuits and strength, £7)

  • Fridays 11.45 at Mapledurham Playing Fields and Pavilion (seated exercise, £7)

About me

​I am trained in Exercise to Music level 2, Gym Instruction Level 2, Personal Training level 3 and Exercise for Older Adults level 3. I have been teaching fitness since 2017 and began to specialise in teaching specifically for older adults when I realised how much fun it was. I am fully insured and a member of CIMPSA.

Chris and I have enjoyed coming to the classes and being part of a friendly group.  The exercises are important in keeping us both fit and healthy and led by a lovely instructor Samantha who makes the exercises fun.

What to expect?


All 45 minute classes work on a full body approach with low/no impact cardio, strength training, balance and flexibility. Every session is designed for you to work at your own pace and ability. Classes are relaxed and friendly and offer a social element as well as a workout.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sam. She is a lovely, lively, friendly person and truly passionate about what she does. I have always been very fit but after a serious car accident a few years back I had to start again from scratch, which was damaging not only physically but also mentally. Sam was incredibly supportive and tailored workouts to suit my body's capabilities. Thanks to her help I have not only been able to return to my previous full training regime but my fitness levels are also substantially higher than before the injury. I have recently started these sessions and love the way Sam plans them to include aerobic exercises targeting different parts of the body. Her instructions are clear and concise and she identifies which muscles you should be working which is really helpful. The work on balance is so useful as I struggle with vertigo. I leave the class feeling energised from a whole body workout!

Samantha's fitness classes for seniors are both fun and beneficial. The exercises are well structured by her with a good understanding of individuals' limitations and are suitable for all ability levels. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and everyone looks forward to participating on a regular basis.
